Hi, Christofer de la Motte here! Since you’ve seemed to enjoy our previous posts giving you a behind-the-scenes look at our various departments and amazing colleagues, I thought I’d take over the feed and show you what a day on the sales team looks like.
08:30 – Daily check-in at the sales department (and, of course, a mandatory morning coffee). We go around the team to give quick updates on what’s in the pipeline, opportunities, potential obstacles, and if anyone needs support during the day.
09:00 – Mornings fly by (mainly thanks to all the fun client meetings) and are usually spent on sales activities, like reaching out to companies that have requested demos or following up on proposals. There’s also some cold calling to book meetings and showcase our awesome product, Boards on Fire.
12:00 – Lunch time! Most days I enjoy a tasty packed lunch, but sometimes I start with a quick workout with colleagues in the gym. If the sun is out, it’s perfect for a walk with colleagues or my dog, Bellman.
13:30 – The afternoon continues with meetings, both with clients and colleagues. Since many of the companies we work with are spread across the country, most meetings are digital—a fun way to hear a variety of accents. When possible, we love visiting clients in person.
15:00 – Quick coffee break and a piece of fruit (usually a banana) with colleagues in our comfy lounge area. A bit of casual chat about what’s happening and what everyone has planned for the weekend.
15:30 – Planning a meeting with a potential company in the USA that has shown interest in our digital daily management solution. Great practice for my English and fine-tuning my pitch.
17:00 – Wrapping up the day with some admin and a quick check of the calendar for tomorrow.
In short, I have an amazing job, and it feels fantastic to work with a product that truly makes a difference in people’s daily lives.
